A creative blend of vintage and modern in the Garden State
In 2006, JK Design moved our main offices from Somerset to the historic John R. Staats House in Hillsborough, New Jersey. This peaceful spot among the rolling hills of southwestern Somerset County offers waterside views and is easily accessible from Routes 206, 202 and 287.
The restoration of this stately 19th-century mansion – which was honored with a Somerset County Historic Preservation award – refurbished the original pumpkin pine floorboards and ornate crown moldings while integrating modern features designed to foster productivity and inspire creativity. The site includes a full multimedia workshop, video editing and production studio, conference rooms, outdoor patio overlooking Royce Brook Pond, and comfortable, rustic-style lobby complete with brick fireplace.
Since our beginnings more than 25 years ago, JK Design has cultivated a corporate culture designed to provide each client with the highest level of personal attention and creative energy possible. Our NJ office environment was designed in that same spirit, melding tradition with innovation - the same way our team does every day.
