Yesterday, marked the last week of the Ten Pin lanes bowling league. JK Design entered two teams in the league and week ten served as the championships.

In an epic battle between the top two teams, “Shred the Rack” took down the number 1 team, “The Beaners”. The match was close for the first two games, each splitting the games with a win a piece. The final game came down to the last frame when the teams were separated by 10 pins.

In the form seen all year from Shred the Rack, the team finished strong and cruised to victory. Shred the Rack, who’s team consisted of Jeremy R., Omar J. and Brian F., were helped along the way, by Chris P. and Jen A.

JK’s second team, “Team 5″, finished the year strong with an easy victory in their final match. Team 5 consisted of Jen S., Bill C., and Kevin S. They were assisted by Herbert and Bryan.

Lucy San Philips is a veteran graphic artist with more than 17 years of experience. Prior to joining JK Design as a production artist on the print team, she held a variety of positions as graphic designer and art director for major marketing and advertising agencies in the New York metropolitan area. She has also worked as a freelance designer and served as president, art director, and managing partner for a design group focused on the music industry. At JK Design, she is responsible for design and production of a wide variety of marketing and promotional materials including ads, trade show graphics, annual reports, brochures, logos, and direct mail pieces. She earned a degree in art and advertising design from New York City College of Technology and is fluent in Spanish.
