Although the site is dubbed “speaking freely”, there are policies to abide by:

JK Design Blog Policies

  1. All JK Design employees can Add New Posts or Comment on any Post, but only in the “JK Design Staff-Only” Category or a Sub-Category. See the “Categories” box when posting. Categories that are JK Design Staff-Only, begin with “JKD”.
  2. Your JK Design Staff-Only Post or Comments may at any time be made Public by one of our Administrators, if they feel it is appropriate for the Public.
  3. Only those authorized by a Manager, should Add New Posts in any other Public category.
  4. Specific senior staff at JK Design will focus on Adding New public Posts, aligned with certain topics. They are listed below. Ask Darren if you can manage a certain topic, if you want to volunteer.
  5. It’s OK for any employee to Comment an existing public entry, if they are adding supporting comments. Corrections to errors should be made privately.
  6. Basic writing policies: keep it short, intelligent, do not plagiarize, use keywords, do not contradict your senior staff, and review your content internal with a manager before posting.
  7. If you’re bad at writing & grammar, have someone else write your entry for you. Or at least review it before posting.
