Interactive Sales Representative

Our office is located in a relaxed environment located next to a pond in central New Jersey (Hillsborough). Most of our clients are also in central NJ.
We are seeking a mid-level to senior Interactive Sales Representative (Business Development) to focus on sales in the Tri-State area (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York). This is a great opportunity with excellent financial potential.
What you need for this position:
1. You must have an existing rolodex of strong and established relationships with Senior Director or VP level marketing contacts in high net-worth coporations.
2. As a Prospector, you must be able to attend networking events, establish leads, obtain client meetings and close the sale! While the ability to build and manage relationships is important, your ability to open doors is critical. Making cold calls can also be required.
3. You must appear highly credible with clients and have great presentation and persuasion skills.
4. You must have Interactive Agency sales experience, with a good understanding of Web and Video technologies, what it takes to get the job done, and what the typical market prices are.
What you will be doing:
1. Develop new business relationships with high-net worth clients who are located in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania/Philadelphia area - or the New York City area.
2. Get busy with your rolodex and setup face-to-face meetings, in order to develop new Interactive business for JK Design, and meeting or exceeding established sales quotas. We're seeking Interactive projects priced at $100,000 or above.
3. Develop innovative approaches to sales. Have a unique marketing idea to obtain more sales? Lets hear it! Also be willing to make those cold calls!
4. Maintain company database of leads and existing client contact by recording account activity and reporting this to JK Design management on a weekly basis.
5. Understand client business, brand and marketing objectives; write creative briefs and project proposals (in conjunction with JK Design’s Print and Interactive managers).
Compensation:
Compensation consists of a base draw, determined by qualifications, skills, etc. plus a commission schedule designed to provide you with the opportunity to earn a significant income.
