Sales Representative - New York City
JK Design (http://www.jkdesign.com), is a full service marketing agency with a 25+ year history. We recently opened a new Chelsea area office and seek a seasoned mid-level to senior Business Development Exec / Sales Rep. This is a great opportunity with excellent financial potential.
Those who bring an existing rolodex of strong and established relationships with Senior Director or VP level marketing contacts in high net-worth corporations, will get our attention first!
What you need for this position:
1. You must be an Experienced Prospector who can find leads, make cold calls, obtain a a client meeting and close the sale! While the ability to build and manage relationships is important, your ability to open doors is critical.
2. You must appear highly credible with clients and have great presentation and persuasion skills.
3. Minimum 5 years Marketing/Design Agency sales experience required.
4. Interactive [Web, Video] & Print experience are strong pluses.
What you will be doing:
1. Develop new business relationships with high-net worth clients who are located in the New York City area.
2. Perform telephone cold-calling and subsequent face-to-face meetings, in order to develop new business and meeting or exceeding established sales quotas.
3. Develop innovative approaches to sales. Have a unique marketing idea to obtain more sales? Lets hear it!
4. Maintain company database of leads and existing client contact by recording account activity and reporting this to JK Design management on a weekly basis.
5. Understand client business, brand and marketing objectives; write creative briefs and project proposals (in conjunction with JK Design’s Print and Interactive managers).
Compensation:
Compensation consists of a base draw, determined by qualifications, skills, etc. plus a commission schedule designed to provide you with the opportunity to earn a significant income.
