We were faced with the challenge of reaching high level lab executives to introduce a new blood sample storage device. A dimensional mailer was developed that included product information along with a die-cut card that mimicked the size of the actual storage device. Recipients were enticed to visit a micro site, enter some brief information and play an interactive game. Upon holding the die –cut card up to the screen, a few codes were revealed in the die-cut windows (“You Win”, “Sample” etc.) and product samples were delivered.
Our client enjoyed a 14.5% response rate where customers requested a product sample. A great number of the samples led to sales with new customers.
