How do we do it? Our experienced mobile programmers have two main ways to create interactive programs for mobile devices like smart phones and tablets:
- The simpler method - We can create a special scaled-down mobile version of your website by "stripping out" most of the graphics and layout. This produces a mobile website: a mobile-friendly version of your website that can often be viewed by substituting "mobile" for "www" in the URL/Web Address (for example, http://mobile.microsoft.com). We create mobile websites with HTML and CSS. However, it's important to keep in mind that mobile websites have certain limitations (including the lower resolution of mobile screens, small screen size, and constraints on web page functionality and features).
- The more complex (and flexible!) method - JK Design can also create a more advanced mobile application for your company (also known as a mobile app, iPad app, iPhone app or Android app). Although mobile apps can take more time to create, they can be well worth the effort! Mobile apps offer more flexibility and can incorporate more extensive - and impressive - animation and opportunities for user interaction. We typically code mobile apps with the specific software language required by the device manufacturer.
