Full-motion video – in print? It’s now a reality. Video-In-Print ® (VIP™) technology, otherwise known as Multisensory Marketing, is an innovative way to grab your audience’s attention and put a spark in your printed materials and print advertising. With a circuit board and small LCD screen, it’s possible to play high-resolution video and audio content in almost any kind of print media.
The first video-in-print player was patented by Americhip and appeared in selected subscription copies of Entertainment Weekly in September 2009. VIP technology has also been used by major advertisers like AT&T, Discovery Channel and the New Orleans Saints in a range of promotional efforts.
However additional companies have also launched similar devices. Kyp Multisensory Solutions has engaged JK Design with the possibility of integrating our video productions and print campaign materials with their Kyp Viewer ™.
