Guaranteed Blinds is a true dot.com success story. It is an e-commerce site that sells window blinds online.

The company started small, with two partners who had a goal to create a virtual company that would resell window blinds, which were manufactured by Prestige Window Fashions (based in Edison NJ). Prestige does not sell blinds direct to the public, and they did not have an online presence to sell direct to the consumer, so Guaranteed Blinds was born.

JK Design created the Guaranteed Blinds logo and Web site branding. Along with the partners, JK Design conducted extensive planning, regarding what the extensive product line would consist of, how they could be customized, and what the available accessories and documentation would be. Once we understood what would be sold, we created the blueprint regarding what features the Web site would include, and how it would function.

All Web development was conducted by JK Design as well. The site was created with a LAMP Solution Stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) along with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Flash.

The site has one of the most extensive Content Management Systems we have ever created, to allow the owners to maintain product information including textual descriptions, images and options. In addition, a full online Order Tracking and Reporting System is available to customers who order blinds, as well as the Guaranteed Blinds staff.

Thanks to JK Design's search engine marketing techniques, the site consistently ranks fairly high on Google for the term "wood blinds" and others - out of more than 5 million results!
