Challenge
When LG Electronics prepared to introduce their Network Attached Storage Device to the consumer market, they asked JK Design to design and produce an animated video describing the features and benefits of this device. The goal was to raise consumer awareness of the need and value of Network Attached Storage, including the protection of digital assets such as photos, video and music. It was also important to highlight the ease of use and integration with other devices.
Solution
In order to illustrate the many features of the Network Attached Storage Device, JK Design produced a detailed 3-D model and animated it to show the product's various options, drives and connections. The model was also integrated with powerful imagery demonstrating the device in use. Music, animation and effects tied the story together into a compelling and entertaining story.
Results
The impact of this video in describing the value of this device was clear: LG features this video on the LG USA website landing page for the Network Attached Storage Device. The video was so well received that it is also used on third-party retail sites to help promote and sell the device through those external sales channels. JK Design's work on this project was also selected for a Telly Award in 2010 - out of 13,000 entries!
