There are two facts about The Home Depot that cannot be disputed. Fact 1: Their stores are huge. Fact 2: They’ve got a lot of stuff. While these two truths make The Home Depot the perfect destination for homeowners and contractors alike, they can also make a trip to the hardware store seem daunting – especially when you know what you need but don’t know where to find it. JK Design’s challenge? Streamline the consumer experience with informative and strategically placed signage.
Solution
The trick to creating a positive consumer experience is to find the perfect mix of signage for every stage in a consumer’s visit. Once at the store, eye-catching end-cap displays help direct consumers to the right aisle; informative aisle headers educate and take the guesswork out of consumer purchases; in-aisle signage such as aisle violators, wobblers, and danglers promote brand awareness and provide up-selling opportunities for featured brands; and strategically placed POP and cross-merchandising displays engage customers beyond a product’s standard shelf location.
