Terumo Interventional Systems is a global medical device company serving interventional radiologists and other health care professionals. To make it easy for Terumo’s customers to find the products they need, JK Design created the “Terumo Arterial Atlas Selection Guide” – a pocket-size visual reference that clearly indicates the appropriate device for a specific interventional procedure according to anatomy.
The guide proved to be so popular that Terumo requested an electronic version to display at trade shows and conferences. Taking advantage of the latest touch-screen technology, JK Design developed an interactive application that enables users to explore a virtual version of the guide. Simply by touching the relevant area of anatomy, a health care professional can navigate through a series of screens to determine the appropriate Terumo product for a specific procedure. In addition, full technical specifications for each product are only a click away. The touch screen has had strong “stopping power” at the Terumo booth, allowing the company’s representatives to connect with more visitors and to educate customers about their products in a visually engaging way.
