Challenge

Siemens Hearing came to JK Design for help with their trade show presence. Previously, the client only used traditional methods to engage their clients with panel displays, informational brochures and an attentive sales staff. The sales staff was often inundated with more traffic than it could handle. Presenting a technical product to a highly educated clientele in a short period of time was a challenge. The client simply wasn’t getting the message out to all of their prospects.

 

Solution

JK Design presented an optional means of engaging the client’s prospects and customers during heavy traffic periods: the touch-screen microsite. Positioned conveniently on the floor by their booth, the client placed two 24-inch touch-screen monitors that by default displayed the words “Touch Me.” Simple, yet effective. Once an attendee touched the screen, a well-branded, easy-to-navigate microsite opened that provided the viewer with information aboutSiemens’ new products and services.A French version was also created for their Canadian market.

 

Results

Needless to say, Siemens was ecstatic that they were able to present their information to more people than ever before. Attendance at the after party was up, more information requests were made and the client received compliments throughout the show –and long after the event was over – about their cutting-edge method of displaying their products and services. Additionally, this initial concept has been used multiple times at other events by simply updating content and implementing new and exciting technologies that have become available. A great, cost-effective method for presenting information had been realized.
