ROLE:

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing the client relationship across accounts, working with internal and external teams to ensure projects are delivered with high quality and meet the client needs and expectations. Candidates should possess at least five years of experience in a previous account management or client services role. Experience working in internal or corporate communications is a plus but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role of Senior Account Manager is responsible for maintaining ownership of the following tasks or account functions:

  • Primary point of contact with all assigned clients
  • All client communications and correspondence
  • Communication/management of internal teams working on specific project
  • Project management and trafficking of projects through internal systems
  • Manage financial process: establish project budgets, monitor hours, client billing, account revenue forecasting
  • Ensure projects have gone through QA Process
  • Conduct PPA on project assignments

EXPECTATIONS:

The position of Senior Account Manager is expected to provide the following:

  • Develop strategic client relationships, building trust and confidence
  • Transparent account management, ensuring all staff working on project is informed of project status, deliverables, and expectations
  • Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Solid understanding of client business, identifying opportunities for growth, and new business development
  • Keep up to date on communication and client-related industry trends
  • A dedication to project quality assurance and flawless execution
  • Identifying and troubleshooting potential issues and enlisting support of management or executive teams as necessary
  • Monitor project hours and raise flags if trending over
  • Full understanding of internal process

SKILLS:

The Senior Account Manager is required to possess the following skills:

  • Superb organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability for exemplary clear and effective communication – written and verbal
  • Responsive, with ability for smart time management/multi-tasking
  • Adept at managing and working with internal teams in a collaborative environment
  • Strong writing skills, developing SOWs, creative briefs, and client correspondence (meeting recap, client emails, etc.)
  • Excellent presentation skills
